It cannot be denied that our projects, which are on the verge of watchmaking and goldsmithing, attract the attention of not only "technical girls", but various watch-maniacs, collectors and freaks as well.

We usually create various mechanical cufflinks and bracelets especially for them. But this time, we made something different: a little and precise jewel perfect for elegant men's outfit. It is a sterling silver pin equipped with an authentic, working Swiss watch movement. The copper-plated movement attracts attention with its energetic work of the balance wheel under the sapphire glass. The beating heart of this pin is the caliber 2442 produced by ETA (additional marking "PA" on the movement) in the 1960s.

It's not only the smallest ETA movement, but one of the tiniest movements ever made as well. Its diameter is a bit over 13mm. There are 17 ruby bearings and an Incabloc anti-shock device inside. This watch movement came to us together with watchmaking scrap, but it was working, so we decided to use it this way and extend its life.

The design of the pin itself is based on two overlapping cups enclosing the movement. This ensures sufficient tightness and the oportunity of access to the interior, if there would be a need for maintenance of it.
