Double stars - long earrings of silver

The system of two stars formed from the same cloud of gas is nothing unusual in astronomy - our lonely Sun is rather a minority. Generally, such two stars have different masses, which makes their lives look different and their common existence is sometimes quite dramatic.

Openwork, shiny lines connect the golden, bursting classic star shown in a resin cabochon, with its massive, neutron twin sister symbolised by a crystalline zircon. The asymmetric, delicate form of one earring was symmetrically reflected in the second earring.

These fully handmade, long silver earrings were created as a complement to the unique necklace of the same title and are intended to create an astronomically otherworldly jewelry set. However, they will also look great solo!
