Long earrings with tropical flowers

These slender earrings made from silver and watch parts fascinate with their rich, floral interior. Stems which are hand crafted of watch hands and delicate, a little bit exotic flowers bloom against a classically black background. Their petals are also made of elements of watch hands from old timepieces, and their insides are of cogs and ruby ​​bearings from watch movements. This lush, tropical flora is in fact filigree miniature made of mechanical elements that fits in a very small space - the inner, black part of the earring is only 8 mm x 29 mm. The settings and earhooks are made of 925 silver, finished by hand brushing, thanks to which the surface of the precious metal has a noticeable texture. The flowery compositions have been finished with a clear resin that protects the filigree motifs and covers them with a smooth, shiny coating. Whole fusiform bezel setting is 10 mm x 35 mm (measured from the outside). The total length of these art jewelry pieces with the earwires is 51mm.
