Original pendant with a fox sleeping in a crown

A unique pendant with a cute, sleeping animal. The genesis of this piece is quite interesting. Our client asked us, if we could make "a fox in a crown". What crossed my mind immediately: "okay, but it has to wear it on his head, or can it sleep inside like a doggie in its lair?" And so my interpretation gave birth to a completely unconventional idea. A fox is a tiny sculpture made of a thin winding wire from electric coil of a quartz timepiece. The crown was made of brass and clock hands mainly.

The setting of this unique pendant is an old, silver pocketwatch case, which has been slightly refreshed and polished, but not too much, because we wanted it to keep its antique charm.

This item is a great example of personalized custom made jewelry. It is quite private piece, because it was a gift for a beautiful girl with fiery hair and her surname is Korona [korona (pl) = a crown (eng)].
