A unique pendant with clockwork moose made entirely by hand from watch parts and sterling silver. This is an example of jewelry made to order. The moose portrait is a bas-relief from watchmaker's scrap made of various small fittings and cogs taken from old watch movements, and secured with transparent jewelry resin after all. You can see our steampunk moose before it was framed in silver and finished with resin in the photo below:
The setting of this custom made pendant was hand made from scratch of sterling silver, brushed, visually aged (at the request of the customer who loves old looking pieces - scratched and not looking like new) and oxidized. If you would like to see how we work, you can see our goldsmithing atelier here. An interesting fact in this hand crafted pendant is something that is unfortunately not visible on pictures, namely that the cog on the top of the pendant - the one that plays the role of a bail to pull the carrier through it (e.g. a thong) - is movable - it rotates around its axis like a block to the rope:
This pendant was made to order for the individual customer and it is totally unique - it was created in one single copy and we will not repeat it.
However, if you you consider ordering an original artistic jewelry for a gift for a loved one or for yourself, please write to us an e-mail about your expectations, and we will try to propose an interesting jewelry concept especially for you.
