Spiral Galaxy Cufflinks from the Astron collection

Handmade, sterling silver cufflinks with a cosmic motif of spiral galaxies is a unique project combining various techniques that we use in our atelier.

Natural peridotes are the centers of both galaxies, while their arms are formed of filigree, brass watch parts and finished with jewelery resin. The stones are setted so that their crowns and tables protrude slightly above the resin surface.

The eye-catching, unusually shaped settings are hand made of sterling silver. These pieces are so much different, that will be perfect both: as men's jewelry or as women's cufflinks. Undoubtly, it is a proposition for someone, who appreciates original items and look for unique jewelry, that will be tasteful and elegant at the same time.

A few words about the stones used - natural peridotes are precious stones that are a rare variety of olivines in a beautiful light green color. Alternative medicine believes that these gemstones neutralize toxins, cleansing the body, accelerating metabolism and convalescence processes. Some people say that they are stones of wealth, especially the spiritual one. An interesting fact, especially in the context of jewelry dealing with astronomical topics, is that peridotes are not only found on Earth, because they were found in space dust samples from the Stardust probe.
