Too Close - Custom made bolo tie

"Too Close" - unusual bolo tie made by hand to customers order. We were expected to create something completely different, distinguishing from traditional bolo not only in its shape and aesthetics but in theme as well.

Hand-made according to our original design, spatial, sterling silver bolo tie setting in the shape of a shield exposes a three-dimensional astronomical motif made of watch parts. We can see a fragment of the mechanical surface of the star shimmering golden inside of it, which contrasts with the iridescent navy-blue space around it. A tiny object pulled by the gravity of this massive steampunk fireball enters its upper atmosphere. It disintegrates and sparkles with the reflections of yellow zircon, heated by the temperature and friction of thickening gases. It is going to be completely burned in a moment. It is too close to survive - it will evaporate in an atomic fog!

Someday our Sun - before it dies - will increase in size and the same will happen to the Earth. Fortunately, we still have some time ... about 3.5 billion years.
