Automotive pendant with Mercedes SSK

This is quite unusual artistic jewelry inspired by the early history of motoring. Hand-made roadster modeled on the Mercedes SSK from 1928. All (really all) elements of this tiny auto come from old watch movements. Wheels, fenders, lights, radiator with plug, body, side number, or exhaust manifold... - all these are all pieces of springs, watch hands, axles and bearings, screws from watches. The undoubted curiosity is the fact that this model was riding, before it was secured with the resin. You can see it at the video below:

The picturesque scenery was also made mainly of watch parts and pieces of plants or metal. An antique pocket watch case was used for the setting, probably from the period when such vehicles traveled the roads.

The reverse of the pendant has also been carefully decorated with a watch face with a structural pattern reminiscent of the Mercedes logo.

The work is unique, created in 2016. It is currently in private collection in France.

The dimensions of the pendant are 76 mm long and 53 mm in diameter.
