Space - Solar System ring

Solar system. A real piece of Space. Parallel Universe made of real watch parts. Composition had been carefully closed under transparent resin. Solar System in this piece contains the following planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. The black background shines with stars made of silver filings. The setting of this hand made ring is made of sterling silver.

Outer diameter of the decorative part: 21mm.

Cosmic motifs have been appearing in TRYB jewelry from the very beginning. I graduated Astronomy at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań some time ago, and although I do not work in this profession, Astronomy is still a fascinating science for me and a source of inspiration in our artistic and goldsmith atelier. The Solar System inside of this sterling silver ring is conventionally presented - in fact, the ratio between celestial bodies and the distances which divide them is different - the Space is mainly emptiness. However, due to the small size of this round pendant and its decorative function, I decided to make a composition adapted to become a part of a handmade jewelry. The effect of this creative transformation of the Solar System is a collection of original jewelry inspired by the planets closest to us.
